Embracing Otherness IPA - Cloudwater x Eko Brewery Tesco Listing
Our collaboration pack made with Cloudwater and three of our small brewery peers, Rock Leopard, Queer Brewing and Good Karma.
Our contribution, Embracing Otherness, is a 6% single hop IPA, brewed using simcoe, and can be found in the collaborative ‘Beer with Big Ideas’ 4-pack, exclusively in Tesco’s stores.
The collaboration was designed to encourage diversity and inclusivity within the craft beer industry, and we named our beer Embracing Otherness as we hope to inspire people to try things that appear ‘different’ from what they are used to. We also wanted to reflect the craft beer community spirit of exploration and discovery, while inviting some ‘outsiders’ in - those who might love beer, but aren’t so familiar with the craft beer scene.
For those from minority communities who may not see themselves represented within the industry, it's an invitation to engage and get to know us; and to hopefully go on and explore craft beer from other breweries and bottle shops too. For our craft beer peers, it's also an opportunity to actively embrace breweries owned by people from minority groups, and to be inspired to collaborate with them too.
